I explore storytelling, place, memory and more specifically – lived experiences of culture, identity and neurodiversity from diasporic communities through illustration and textile printing.

Participants have collected small found objects – such as broken ceramics, bottle lids, and greens from their surroundings. These objects have helped them connect with the place, and they used them to create unique prints on fabric to take home with them.

Through these workshops, I aim to make printmaking accessible while providing a space for people to share and celebrate their cultural narratives in a creative and meaningful way.

In my drawing workshop, I help connect what you notice  – such as coincidences with the story you want to tell using film footage. I encourage to explore composition, natural attraction to certain objects and materials, and how they can represent the emotions of the story.
